I have spent a fortune so far this year on 2 mattresses and 3 toppers, all different types and I'm still not happy. I wake in the early hours with terrible lower back pain and once awake there's no chance of finding a position to lay in without the pain and I can barely get out of bed or straighten up for hours. Enough is enough! I had to look again online for a topper, I couldn't afford another mattress. Even though I was desperate I took my time, 2 months, to look and read many toppers and reviews. It's so difficult because I suppose it's all down to personal preference. My new mattress was hard as rock even though it promised the world of comfort and had all of these different layers blah blah blah, I'm at my wits end and overtired by this time. Then......... I found the newenter 10cm memory foam topper. The description described me and my mattress. I eagerly read all of the reviews. I saw how many purchases has been made and I decided to BUY. The topper was delivered quickly, thank goodness. I placed it on the bed and within 2 hrs it was at 10cm. So quick! The cover is lovely and plush, good quality and thickness is spot on. It is a little tiny bit smaller than my mattress but it is huge! I didn't notice any smell. I made up my bed and couldnt wait to get in it at bed time. I wasn't disappointed! Omgoodness I can't tell you just how comfortable it is. I was worried it wouldn't be thick enough as my mattress was so hard but I worried for no reason. The memory foams are obviously great quality. I sunk into it like a marshmallow and it encased me with love all night long. For the first time in a year I slept from 9pm to 8am and when I HAD to get out of bed I had no struggles what so ever. I felt like a new woman all day and it was such a change to be able to stand straight and walk around straight. No longer do I dread to go to bed. As a woman of a certain age I've also found its not over heating my body either. At some point I am going to look into buying one of newenters mattresses too. I did have a nice surprise a couple of days after my purchase. Newenter sent me a mail through amazon thanking me for my purchase, advising the best way to keep it in tip top condition. You don't get any better. I highly recommend you buy this.

So I’ve been sleeping on this now for a couple of weeks , so best to give my opinion. Well what can I say !!!!! Bloody marvellous!!!! First night sleep wow , got up in the morning and no back pain for the first time in 4 years and it’s been like that every morning since . I know your probably thinking yeah right, well it very true . I have had endless mattress toppers and they are fine for a few months but I still get niggly aches and pains and patchy sleep . But then I found this and thought it will be just the same but I get to try as mattresses are so expensive to keep changing etc. . Now I am so glad I have this u sleep better I’m so comfy I just drift off . It’s very sturdy , shocked at the thickness cause sometimes descriptions can be a little misleading . The picture speaks for its self . There was no smell and if there was I didn’t smell it . We left it out for 24 hours to give it plenty of time to expand . Hope this helps

It is a good mattress topper but even though I gave it 3 days to expand, it stayed more or less the same than when I took it out from its wrapping. Fully expended, it comes just under 9 cms. It is not a problem for me as I am not using as a mattress topper but to put under my son’s new hospital mattress (see pic), which is not as thick as his old one. My son was uncomfortable and not sleeping well but with the extra layer, he seems comfortable and sleeps thorough the night without complaint. The reason I decided to use it under the mattress and not as a topper is because I read reviews saying that it gave them bad back or made their backache worse. My son is either on his bed, or in his wheelchair so I didn’t want to take this risk. Personally, I found the quality of the mattress excellent. It is well made, quite firm though I expect it to reduce in thickness, due to the weight of my boy plus the weight of his mattress. As long as it doesn’t go lower than 6 or 7 cms, I’ll be happy. The base of the topper is anti-slide. It is a good idea but a feature I don’t need as I encase every mattress or topper in anti bed bug mattress protectors. I do recommend it. Especially I bought it at its full price (£129.99) which quite dear for a topper and at the time of this review, only few days later, its price has reduced to £99.99. So, take advantage of this reduction. By the way, there was no chemical or bad smells on opening the wrapping. Which is good. Only 4 stars because it didn’t expand to the full 10 cms as described. Be aware of this fact, if this important to you. Maybe it was just mine but I measured it to make sure. On receiving it and after 3 days .

Got a few springs broken in my mattress so I purchased the 10cm one to use it as a topper. It solved all the issues and made my bed feel premium. I was concerned after reading others review about the smell. However, I followed the instructions that came with the mattress. I left it in fresh air for few hours. While still felt the smell, it wasn’t too bad. It went completely away after few days but washing the cover seemed to help with that. The mattress has 2 sides and felt great for me using the firm side but my wife’s back pains were gone when used the other side. The mattress cover has anti slip dots which help to keep it steady. I’m pleased with the purchase overall.
